The Weekend Break
This course, set in the Visitor's Centre of Ventnor's stunning Botanic Gardens, will introduce a variety of approaches to basketmaking, both traditional and contemporary. Plaiting, braiding and twining will be explored with soft materials such as rush and iris, and there will be the opportunity to gather natural materials from the gardens and to experiment with sculptural forms.
